Professional eater Joey Chestnut is about to take on the biggest eating event in Texas: the fair.
Driving the news: Chestnut will eat fair foods as part of the halftime performance at tomorrow's inaugural State Fair Clásico.
Dallas Trinity FC is hosting América Femenil for the match at the Cotton Bowl.
The intrigue: Chestnut set a new world record for eating 96 tamales in 10 minutes at the Padrino Foods World Tamale Eating Championship last month in Lewisville.
Chestnut is best known for eating hot dogs.
If you go: The match is at 4pm. General admission tickets are $27 and include entry to the fair.
"Spanglish" singer Micah Palace will perform after the match.
